Polka Summer

Greetings Polka Fans, It looks like the weather is finally feeling summer like. This is the time of year to look forward to the great festivals, and polka events through out the country. Wherever you live, I urge you to support all of your local polka activities. Help the festival promoters and polka organizations by attending as many dances, picnics and festivals that feature polka music in your area. Come out and support all of the great bands that put their hearts and souls into performing for you, the polka fans.

The IPA officers and directors are working to make our 51st Festival and Convention another memorable event. Once again we will be in Buffalo, NY at the Millennium Hotel Labor Day Weekend. I would like to take a moment to remember all our brave men and women of the military on this 75th anniversary of D Day this past June 6. We are truly the “Land of the Free because of the Brave.” God Bless them all who sacrificed their lives so we can enjoy our freedom. I hope everyone has a safe and happy summer.
