Band music by the Moonglow Orchestra from 3-6:30 pm. The club hosts dances on Sundays during the months of February, April, May, August, October, and December. Guests are always welcome, and memberships are available. See ad, p. 14.

TELSTARS & TOYS FOR TOTS

The KC Hall in Houston presents its annual Toys for Tots BBQ Cookoff Dance on Fri., Nov. 30 from 8 pm-midnight. The Telstars provide the music for this fun, holiday dance. Be sure to bring an unwrapped toy for the KCs to pass on to the Marines for distribution to children who might not otherwise experience the joy of getting a Christmas present. The barbecue cookoff judging will be held on Sat. Contact Pete Rodriguez at PR2464@gmail.com to get the scoop on entering. See ad, p. 23.

MUSIC CORNUCOPIA @ LODGE 88

SPJST Lodge 88 in Houston has a calendar stuffed with great music! It begins Sat., Nov. 3 with Big Band music starring the Moonglow Orchestra. Doug Boggs & The Cowboy Jazz Band brings country and swing to the scene. The Fab 5 not only pays tribute to The Beatles, they rock the joint with classic 60s and 70s tunes, on Fri., Nov. 16.
