TEXAS CZECH GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY PROGRAM SET FOR JANUARY 25

Dance hall days, the Velvet Revolution, and the Spanish American War are just a few of the topics to be covered in the program presented by the Texas Czech Genealogical Society on Sat., Jan. 25. The event will be held at the Caldwell Civic and Visitor Center. Registration and refreshments start at 8 am followed by the program 9 am-4 pm.

The day's agenda: Texas Czechs Bring the Music - Documentary Special Cultural Feature - Theresa Cernoch Parker, Publisher and Gary E. McKee, Editor of the Texas Polka News, and Erik McCowan, producer of the documentary will report on the current status of dance halls and polka bands.
