Wow the end of 2017. Where did the days, months, and year go? It seems like I just wrote the article for 2016. What a year this has been - storms, hurricanes, evil happenings all around us. When does it stop? As I write this I am listing to Polka Time on KULP. What great music, and music is good for the soul.

Well, the Klub has won every parade since Ennis. I am just so proud and excited for our Klub and its members. Plus, I won another kolache eating contest in La Grange! That makes two, thinking about going on the Kolache Eating Circuit! Just what I need- more “roll,” but I had a blast doing the Hallettsville and La Grange contests; and isn’t that what life is supposed to be all about - having fun!

We have two more parades to finish out the year and they are night parades, Sealy Fantasy of Lights and Wallis Christmas parade, weather permitting. We have been invited to several new ones this year and may entertain some of them next year.
