St. Michael’s Harvest Feast on Sun., Aug 11 features lots of great music, food, and fun. New additions this year are a petting zoo and evening fireworks show! The event will be held at Veterans Memorial Park, about two blocks west of St. Michael. Begin the Feast by attending a Polka Mass at the church at 10:30 am led by Father Wayne Flagg and the Lost Cause Band. Then head to the park to feast on fried chicken, stew, and all the trimmings, starting at 11 am.

Bid on some great one-of-a-kind items in the auction starting at 1 pm, play some Bingo, take a cake walk, and shop the country store. Kids will love the train ride, fish pond, ring toss, and treasure chest. If you’ve been practicing in the backyard, enter the washer pitching tournament. And save some energy for dancing to the Shiner Hobo Band, starting at 10:30 am; Lost Cause, 1 pm; and Chris Rybak, 4 pm. See ad, page 11.
