From Our Readers

You will never know how much our families appreciated the great tribute in the Polka News about Harold and his life. He was quite loved, admired, and respected as he touched the hearts of everyone who crossed his path. I have great memories of us attending the last 23 ship reunions for the aircraft carrier that he worked on as a young 15 year old and was assigned to the same ship when he enlisted in the Navy in 1942 for WWII. He and I also polka danced in 22 states including Alaska and Hawaii. Po.L.K. of A. was a big part of our lives!

My heartfelt thank you goes to all of the friends and the P.O.L.K. of A. members who attended his service and formed the Honor Guard. Also to the friends who shared their thoughts and memories about him. He is truly missed by all of us and we know he is polka dancing in heaven now!
