The year 1955 was also when Alfred Vrazel started hosting his polka show on the KMIL radio airwaves in Cameron, Texas. On September 6, 2020, Alfred, his wife, son in law, daughter and grandchildren, all co-hosted the program together celebrating the 65th anniversary; Alfred's polka show is actually believed to be the longest running polka program on the airwaves.
