TCHCC Unveils New Exhibit: 'A Festival of Music'

The Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center (TCHCC) in La Grange unveiled a new exhibit, "A Festival of Music", to commemorate the fall festival season in their museum last month, Oct. 2. The exhibit includes vintage photographs of Texas polka bands donated by the Catholic Czech Club of Dallas.

The Club disbanded a few years ago and donated its huge collection of artifacts to the Texas Czech Heritage and Cultural Center. Among those artifacts are an extensive collection of photographs of the bands that played at the Club, especially during its heyday of the 1960s and 70s.
